Below you will find answers to many of the common questions that students have regarding the certification program. If you don’t find your questions answered below, feel free to e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I will be happy to answer them.
This program is called the Mastery of Yoga Teacher’s Training and that is reflected on the certificate as well.
1. How long is the training program and can I take longer/shorter?
The training program is designed for 8 weeks but as it is a self study program you can take longer if you need. Many students, for various reasons, do take longer and as there is no time limit for how long you can take to complete the course, this is not a problem.
Also, in some cases, applicants are already yoga teacher’s who are looking to add to their qualifications, and in these special cases the course can actually be completed in a shorter amount of time as well. Of course, you must still pass the final exam in order to receive the certification.
2. How does the final exam work?
The final exam is essay form and I email it to you after you let me know you have completed the training course. As the program provides you an incredible amount of bonus material as well, in addition to the required material, I want to clarify for you that the exam is only on the required material.
Once you complete the exam, you email it back to me for grading. You need to get 80% correct in order to pass and upon passing you will awarded your teacher’s training certification.
3. How Do I Get the Yoga Certificate?
Although this is an online program, the certificate is not a soft copy. The certificate is a hard copy, which is physically mailed to you to your home or studio.
At the time of examination, we request the certificate and address information from you and use that to create the certificate and mail it.
4. Is the Yoga Teacher’s Training Program accredited?
Yes the program is accredited by the World Metaphysical Association (http://www.worldmeta.org). As this is an online program it is in scope for organizations such as the World Metaphysical Association, and not some of the standard yoga organizations.
5. Do you qualify for insurance with this certification?
Yes, in general the standard certification and the letter of recommendation are sufficient for you to get insurance. As this is an international program some countries have slightly different rules for insurance than others. In such cases, we do adjust the wording on the certificate or letter of recommendation to meet the specifics of that particular nations regulations.
6. Can you teach yoga with this certification?
Yes you can teach yoga with the qualification this certificate grants you. The reason I can say that is there are teachers all over the world today, who have completed the Mastery of Yoga Teacher’s Training and are now teaching both privately and in yoga studios.
7. What is the difference between the $47 level and the $67 level?
The $47 level includes the entire program, including the certification and the letter of recommendation. There are no additional charges. Yes I know the price is unbelievably low .
The $67 level gives you everything the $47 level gives you plus a listing in our highly recognized Certified Yoga Teacher’s Directory and your website listed in our popular Best Yoga Studios and Websites page. If you are looking for credibility and more exposure, I certainly recommend the $67 package.
8. Can I make partial payments?
Yes you can make partial payments. Many students sign up for the $47 level and later upgrade to the $67. This is fine. If you need some other partial payment plan that is fine too, just email me and we will work something out.
9. Does the certificate expire or does it need to be renewed?
No this certificate does not have any expiration date and there are no requirements to renew it. If the regulations in your country though require you to renew the certificate, you can email me and we can work something out, but from our side there is no need to renew the certificate.
I hope that answers your questions with regard the online teacher’s training and certificate program. If not, don’t hesitate to email me at email@example.com and I will be happy to answer any other questions or concerns you have.
